Music at the Morrison Farmers’ Market
The music program is an important part of the Morrison Farmers’ Market. Here are a few guidelines to remember:
The market is about supporting our local farmers and producers. It’s about neighbors coming out to mingle, including all types, young and old. We ask performers always to be courteous with anyone they encounter at this event. While we welcome a variety of music genres, the performances must fit the tone of the market, and be suitable for all ages. This is a farmers market, not a rock festival, and therefore the music must enhance, not overwhelm or drown out the conversations among customers and vendors. Volume and content must be appropriate for the market setting. Only acoustic or slightly amplified music is appropriate. The Manager reserves the right to choose performers that best suit the integrity and spirit of the market.
